Lee Somers has both a BFA and MFA from
Alfred University in Alfred New York and has also served as an Adjunct Professor there. From 2006-2009, Lee was a Visiting Professor of Ceramic Design at the
Central Academy of Fine Arts City Design School in Beijing, China, where he received an Excellence in Teaching Award. He has shown his work internationally, including exhibitions at the Shanghai Craft Museum, the Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute Museum, Snyderman Works Gallery in Philadelphia and Hallways Gallery in Buffalo New York.
